Nga hau e wha - the four winds
Te Hau Tonga—the south wind
Te Hau Raki—the north wind
Te Hau Rawhiti—the east wind
Te Hau aa Uru- the west wind
The expression is often used as a metaphor to embrace people from all the corners of the world.
While our loved ones may be scattered to the four winds, the bond of aroha stands strong against the winds of Tawhirimatea.
And so my journey begins... This is one of the first designs I have made that I really love, it is so comfortable and I wear it often because it as so many colours that it goes with just about everything that I wear.
